Numerous sailing, fishing, snorkeling and glass bottom boat trips are offered from May through October, exclusively for Pompano guests. Some trips are offered more than once per week. During the months of June, July and August, a different boat excursion is typically offered each day of the week. The resort only features boat cruises/trips that have proven to be very popular. Pompano doesn’t receive any commissions from the boat companies and never marks up the boat’s prices. Sign up sheets for each water excursion are posted at the resort’s front desk.

HAPPY HOUR SAILING CRUISE
Once or twice per week, captain Anthony Mello takes Pompano guests on a 1½ hour early evening sailing cruise (5:00 – 6:30pm) aboard his 45 foot sailboat, “A.J. Wings”. This popular cruise is a great way to unwind at the end of the day and to take in the sights and sounds of Bermuda as you enjoy a leisurely sail through Bermuda’s Great Sound. The $50 per person fee includes beer, wine, rum swizzles, bottled water and sodas. The resort provides complimentary shuttle van service to/from the nearby Rockaway ferry dock (where the boat operates out of).

GLASS BOTTOM BOAT TRIP
Every Thursday AND Sunday, a fabulous two hour (10:00am – 12:00pm) glass bottom boat excursion is offered exclusively to a maximum of twelve Pompano guests aboard a 22 foot custom designed glass bottom boat called the “Coral Reefer”. You’ll enjoy a scenic ride along some of Bermuda’s most beautiful coastlines and be able to closely view some of Bermuda’s best shallow water reefs, including a 108 year old shipwreck. You’ll be treated to a refreshing, adlib commentary on a broad spectrum of island topics in a very relaxed, personalized atmosphere. The trip costs $40 per person. Pompano provides complimentary shuttle van service to/from the nearby Somerset Bridge ferry dock (where the boat operates out of).

MOONLIGHT HARBOR CRUISE
Once per week, Captain Anthony Mello takes Pompano guests on a relaxing 1½ hour moonlight harbor cruise (from 9:00 – 10:30pm) aboard his beautiful 45 foot sailboat, “A.J. Wings”. You’ll cruise the waters of Bermuda’s Great Sound and sail through Hamilton Harbor, closely passing by Bermuda’s capital city. You’ll experience soothing ocean breezes and the magnificent sight of Hamilton’s lights and the stars in the sky above. This cruise is offered exclusively to a maximum of twenty Pompano guests. The $50 per person fee includes beer, wine, rum swizzles, bottled water and sodas. The resort provides complimentary shuttle van service to/from the nearby Rockaway ferry dock (where the boat operates out of).

REEF FISHING TRIP
Fishing captain, Bobby Lambe, has been taking Pompano guests reef fishing on his boat "Last Chance" for many years. His half day (4 hour) fishing trips run from either 8:30am – 12:30pm or 1:00 – 5:00pm and are always a lot of fun. They usually end with quite a few fish in the boat! Bobby will fillet some of your catch for you to bring back to have for lunch or dinner. He charges $100 per person and can take up to eight people at a time (he needs a minimum of four people – or $400 – for him to go out fishing). Sign up sheets are posted at the resort's front desk. Complimentary shuttle van rides to/from Robinson's Marina (where Bobby's boat operates out of) will be provided. Most of the reef fish that you'll catch will weigh between two and ten pounds. Be sure to bring your camera so you can show off your catch!
