Leisure Activities – Bermuda Fishing

Pickleball

Back in May of 2020, Pompano converted their clay tennis court into three of the most spacious pickleball courts on the island. Court time is complimentary as well as use of paddles and balls for all registered guests.

Golf

The Pompano Beach Club is a golfer’s paradise because the Robert Trent Jones designed Port Royal Golf Course (which has been ranked among the top public golf courses in the world) is right next door.

Fitness Center

The air-conditioned fitness center is open from 6:30 a.m. to midnight daily offering the most breathtaking ocean views from any fitness facility in Bermuda!

Game Room

The game room is open daily for registered guests to enjoy from 6:30 a.m. to midnight and there is no charge to play any of the games. It is equipped with an air hockey table, foosball table, ping pong table, pool table and a few arcade video game systems.

Beach

Pompano has its own private beach with plenty of chaise lounges and beach umbrellas to help you sit back and relax.

Pool

A bright white balustrade railing set against different shades of blue found in the ocean and sky, creates the sensational setting the resort's heated, oceanfront swimming pool.

Hot Tubs

The resort has three hot tubs. Two are situated cliffside, above the ocean, offering the most panoramic ocean views. The other hot tub is located on the pool deck adjoining the pool.

Water Sports Center

The resort’s water sports center is open daily (weather permitting) from mid-May through mid-September, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Shoreline Fishing

Some of the best shoreline fishing in Bermuda can be found on Pompano's waterfront. The resort's sandbar is one of the best areas to catch Bonefish and Pompano.

Reef Fishing

Captain Bobby Lambe has been taking Pompano guests reef fishing on his boat "Last Chance" for many years. His 4 hour fishing trips typically run from either 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and are always a lot of fun.

Deep Sea Fishing

Full or half day deep sea fishing charters are the best way to try and "catch the big one" because the large charter boats can easily reach the deeper waters of the Gulf Stream.

Scuba Diving

Bermuda is one of the world's most desirable dive-adventure destinations, with hundreds of easy-to-explore shipwrecks and beautiful coral reefs surrounding the island.

Snorkeling Trips

Join Captain Ray Lambert aboard his 32 foot custom cruiser, the Mona Lisa, for a three hour sightseeing/snorkeling excursion around the western end of the island. You'll snorkel atop some of Bermuda's colorful inshore coral reefs.
