The Pompano Beach Club is proud to offer a variety of restaurants, where the ambiance and views are as inspiring as the cuisine. Executive Chef, Paul Proverbs, has been with the resort for the past twenty-one years and has done a masterful job with his talented team of chefs. The resort's restaurants have been featured over the years in publications like Bon Appetit, Gourmet and Conde Nast Traveler. Since most of the resort's guests choose their accommodations in conjunction with the resort's very popular breakfast & dinner plan (referred to as their "MAP" plan), it's likely that you'll be eating on-site for the majority of your stay. Conde Nast Traveler's David Lahuta wrote "most guests wouldn't want it any other way, which is why so many folks return to Pompano. Like its rooms, all their restaurants face the ocean; don't miss dinner at the Ocean Grill, where you'll be surrounded by three walls of 30-foot tall floor-to-ceiling windows".
RESTAURANT ATTIRE:
During breakfast, the attire in the Cedar Room restaurant is "casual". Jeans, shorts and t-shirts are perfectly acceptable. If a bathing suit is worn, proper cover-up should be worn over it.
During lunch, bathing suits and other casual attire are perfectly acceptable, since lunches are served poolside or in the Coral Reef Café, adjacent to the pool bar.
During dinner, attire in both of the resort's restaurants is "resort casual". It is recommended that gentlemen (12 years and older) wear collared shirts. Sleeveless t-shirts and hats are not permitted. Anything goes with regards to pants, shorts, skirts, jeans and footwear (flip flops, sandals, sneakers, etc. are all acceptable).
